Dear Castle Rock residents,

We want to take a moment and thank each of you for your cooperation and adherence to the Stage 2 fire bans currently in effect. On July 4, the Castle Rock Police and Fire departments issued just a few citations related to these bans.

We know fireworks, cookouts and campouts are a tradition this time of year, especially as we celebrate our independence. We want you to know everyone’s cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Stage 2 bans are still in effect. Even with rain expected this weekend, dry conditions will persist, and your continued cooperation is greatly appreciated. Information related to fire bans will be available via a special button on our homepage, CRgov.com.
